What is ISSUP Academy
Professional learning, wherever you are
ISSUP Academy is ISSUP’s professional learning platform, supporting the ongoing development of the global substance use and supply reduction workforce. It offers flexible, accessible and evidence-informed learning to help professionals strengthen their knowledge and skills, with achievements linked to their ISSUP profiles.
Learners earn certificates and digital badges upon successful course completion, with NAADAC Continuing Education credits where applicable. Courses can be accessed online or through the Moodle Mobile App, which supports offline learning with downloaded content.
ISSUP membership is free, and members can access the Academy using their ISSUP.net account.

Every ISSUP Academy course is offered at one of three levels, across all content areas, from treatment and prevention to recovery support and supply reduction.
Level 1: Foundational Learning: Build essential knowledge and understanding of core concepts, principles and evidence.
Level 2: Applied Learning: Apply knowledge and skills to practical situations, using established approaches and tools in professional settings.
Level 3: Advanced Learning: Bring together knowledge and skills to analyse complex situations, evaluate approaches and make informed decisions.
Each level reflects the depth and complexity of the course content, helping you choose learning that matches your needs and development goals.

Recognition as You Progress
Earn a certificate and digital badge for each successfully completed course, with NAADAC CE credits where applicable. Badges appear in My Learning and automatically sync to your ISSUP profile. You can also add your certificates to LinkedIn.
