accessWidget improves how ISSUP Academy pages look and behave in your browser, and it helps assistive technology such as screen readers interpret the site. It works fully on all standard Moodle pages, including course pages, lessons, books, quizzes, forums and assignments. Newer ISSUP Academy courses are built entirely with these Moodle activities, so every accessibility profile and adjustment applies throughout.

Some older courses contain interactive learning packages (SCORM) that open inside their own window or frame. The accessibility tool works partly inside these packages, but not every adjustment applies. If you open a SCORM activity and notice that a setting has not taken effect:

• Try re-applying the profile or adjustment once the package has loaded.
• Use your browser's own zoom (Ctrl + plus on Windows, Cmd + plus on Mac) to enlarge content.
• Use your operating system's high contrast or colour filter settings, which apply to everything on screen regardless of the page.

The tool cannot fix everything:

• Videos: the widget does not create captions or transcripts. Where captions are available, use the player's own CC button.
• PDFs and downloadable documents: the widget adjusts web pages only. It does not change the content of PDFs, Word files or other downloads.

If you encounter a barrier the widget cannot resolve, please contact us and tell us which course and activity you were on. We may be able to provide the content in an alternative format.
